The Turning Point of My Life

I never forget the date which is June 11, 2005. It was a significant day of my life. Since that day I had to leave my beloved hometown and immigrated to strange New York City. I had to leave my dear older sister, my relatives, and everything I had in China. It not only changed my life also changed my whole family. At that time, no matter I was happy or unhappy, I had to leave. So it was unforgettable day of my life, I kept all the sadness in the deepest of my heart.
June 11, 2005 when I carried all my stuff, got on the airplane with my parents and my litter sister, it felt heartbreaking. I knew that it means that my life in China was passed. On the way to New York City, the times were passing so slower and almost stopped. Even I could not believe it I was on my way to New York. Finally, I must face the cruel truth. I could not disobey my parents to come. I could not make them felt like they’re sad. So I pretended to be much happier.
I still remembered my first several days in New York City were so lonely. I could not connect my Chinese friends and spoke out all the unhappy things I was suffering. In the darkest of my life, the amazing message was come out. That was I can go to high school even means I have opportunity to go to college. Before I came to New York City, I was ready to go to college, but the way to here stops all my dreams. Since I noticed I have chance to college I did not think the way back to China because go to college is my dream. I can not give up hope.
And now, I still study in high school, I really enjoy to study. I know my way to college is not far away. I am hoping I can success and I believe I can.

My Best Friend

I had a good friend who is named Xiao Hong. She became my best friend when we were in middle school. Do you want to know how come we can be best friends? Now, I will explain to you what happened one by one.
I could not forget the day when we met. It was my first day in the middle school. I was strange for every thing I faced. I sat on the chair without moving because I was fearful. Xiao Hong sat next me. She knew that I felt uncomfortable and nervous. So she introduced herself and I did so. She wanted to make friend with me that made me feel extremely happy.
We became best friends after we knew each other. She took care me so much. We were called twins because we always stayed together; we played together, and studied together. We always appeared at the same time. We would help each other when one of us in troubles. We also encouraged each other to work hard. I enjoyed having time with her and we got a lot of fun.
After I immigrated to New York, we could not stay with her and more. She studies in college in China. She told me her experiences of her life in college. But I am weak in English. I could not start to study in college yet. But we still keep connecting with each other. We share the happiness and sadness in our life. I can not forget her forever.

My Family and I

Thank god for giving me a warm family. I have live with my beloved parents for twenty years. I have two cute sisters. We look like each other. All of us get along with each other. We always study together. We also enjoy spending time with our parents together. I love my family. I appreciate the fact that I have a warm family.
My parents were hard workers. They worked in a factory. They took care all of us no matter what, whether they are busy or not. They never let us felt alone. When my sisters and I was young, we lived in a small village. We grew our produces, which were rice and vegetables. Each time we prepared and ate the food together, we felt warm, contentment, and enjoyment.
As my sisters and I growing up, we went to schools far away from home. We spent less and less time with our parents. We missed our parents so much. Every time we went home on the weekends, my parents were so happy. They spent a lot of time to cook delicious foods for us. During dinner, we shared our happiness with them. And my parents always asked us whether we ate dinners every day, had enough money to use, felt hot or cold, or got well with our classmates. We felt so proud that we had parents like them.
Now, we live in America. My parents work much harder than when they did in China. And that’s to give us a better and comfortable life and a chance to go to college. Every time we see them tired, our hearts are broken. It makes us want to work harder in our studies. We hope too they will have comfortable times in the future.
You know why I love my family so much now. I believe that our relationship will keep on getting well. So we will try our best to make our family happier and happier.

American Dream

A dream is a goal. Dream can give you energy to make you work hard to achieve it. Do you have a wonderful dream? If not, try to create one. And now do you want your dream come true? Have you ever do your best for your dream? Don’t think dream is fantastic. That’s extremely wrong.
Did you ever heard about America was golden Mountain? Did America really have a lot of gold on the floor? Could you pick up the gold in anywhere?
Before I immigrated to America, I had American dream when I was in China. Do you want to know what is it about? I knew America is a prosperous country. It had a good education system. Every learner is hoping to enter famous college from America. Even America is like a heaven in some one’s imagination. And my American dream was to enter college and graduate from college in America. Then I can earn a lot of money and my parents would live more comfortable.
I know the dream is hard for me to make it true. But it’s not unable. So I never give up. I just try my best to work hard in my study. I am hoping that my dream will come true on one day. I believe that heaven helps those who help themselves. That means dream just comes true on the people who work hard. I believe if I work harder, the distance between my dream and I will become shorter. That’s why I always work hard on my study.
From now on, I try to work harder. I hope my dream is not just in my imagination. I hope it will come true. Then, how about your dream?
